Pet Urn, Felix and His Thoughts

“How long was it since I got stuck in this so called “pet urn”? It feels like an eternity since I last seen the light of day.”
These are the thought of the feline know as Felix. Felix was a white majestic cat in a time before he was incinerated and burn to ashes. Some dork decided it would be nice to desecrate his body by burning it in a pyre and keeping his ashes in a “nice and tidy” little pet urn. For some unknown reason mankind has this nasty habit of keeping domesticated cats remains in pet memorials as “a way to preserve there memory”. “Sickening really but that is why I am a cat and not those barbaric human (thought Felix)!”

In reality, 10 years has past since the remains of Felix was imprisoned the that pet urn. Finally after 10 years of endless darkness, 10 years of confinement he would finally see (or at least his ashes would) the light of day again.
For soon it will be “that time”. The time to change the pet memorial and transfer its ashes into a new pet urn. But this story will be kept for another day.

Diaper Cakes Are The Greatest Thing Since Bread and Butter

Can such a thing even exist? Everyone knows that bread and butter is unbeatable…the taste of butter, the smell of freshly baked bread…*drool*…sorry I side track there for a second.

As I was saying, I have discover something so novel, so groovy, so irresistible to the eyes that made me reconsider my list of the 10 ten greatest thing one earth. Number one being, as you all know, bread and butter.

I was invited to a baby shower last night at my good friend Socorro. It was a regular baby shower. Nothing noteworthy at first sight, as usual, just the regular gathering of close friend stuck in one room and chatting about our Dear Lord and what not. Or so I thought…there it was, the greatest thing I had seen in years! Shaped like, decorated like a cake but it was not a cake! It was a cake made of…diaper. Yes, a diaper cake. I headed toward this “cake” with great curiosity. It was nicely wrapped in pink ribbon and all kinds of fluffy things.
I later asked my friend about more detail about this diaper cake and came to know that it was called a “baby” girl diaper cake. Apparently they come in 3 categories of ‘cake’. Boy Diaper cakes, Girl Diaper Cake and Neutral Diaper Cakes. Then there this thing called “tier” that represent how many levels of height the cake will have.

Well all in all I thought it was a great and novel idea with lots of potential as your imagination is the limit on the diversity of diaper cakes for baby showers.
